newer video card and more ram added to an older model? slower fsb than new stuff

The video card makes me think the FSB is a typo... you couldn't CTO/BTO the older one with the 2600XT.

same price as 2.8 though......and a claimed $800 savings?

I called Amazon several days ago for clarification since the ad states that the model has not been released yet and the video card does not match the expected config for the older processor specs. Amazon rep was to call back; has not done so. Previously Amazon did have a close out at that price on the older 3 GHz 8-core machine so I think its a mistake on Amazon's part with an assortment of incorrect specs. I'd be very careful ordering that item. It shows a long ship date as well- April? Something is not right with that ad, I think it was dropped on its head as a baby.
