I have a PC with a myriad of problems that I need to take photos off of and put them on the MP. I am not completely sure of the status or origins of the PC's problems. I suspect that they may be Malware as my family had access to this PC. In a nutshell, I am looking for the best way to get my photos from the PC to the MP having stated that there may be complications. Any suggestions?

If you can boot it and log in, use a USB flash drive or external hard drive to transfer the photos.

If you can't log in, consider putting it in an external enclosure and then connect it to your Mac.

Why not just pull the drive out and stick it in one of the MP's hard drive (or optical drive, if it's ATA instead of SATA) bays?
