...and it's pretty unbelievable.

I was originally going to get a MBP to combine my 20" iMac and my MacBook, but I couldn't pass up the deal ($1650 brand new) with:

24" matte Screen
500gb Hard Drive
256mb Video Card
2gb Ram
2.33ghz Core 2 Duo

It's absolutely gorgeous! It feels like an IMAX theater on my desk. The only problem I can see is a single stuck pixel near the dock. But at least it's stuck and not dead, so there's hope in fixing it.



P.S.- Migration Assistant is pretty awesome. I've never used it before, and I can't believe what a useful tool it is. It took about an hour to move every single thing over to my new computer. Amazing!

P.P.S.- The 20" is listed in the Marketplace if anyone's interested.

I think I jinxed myself because upon closer inspection, the 24" clearly has the dreaded "yellow tint" problem. Everything in the lower right fourth of the screen appears much more yellow. I thought my eyes were just playing tricks on me, but sadly, they weren't. I bought the computer from B&H, and hopefully they'll let me return it.

Damn.
