First off, the specs... I have a 2007 MacPro w/ 2x 2.66Ghz Dual-Core Xeons, 4GB Ram, Primary HD has only one partition for OS X and Secondary HD has 2 partitions 1 for WinXP Pro SP2/Bootcamp and 1 for storage. I am running 10.5.2 and have been since its release. I have made no major mods hardware or software. I do use rEFIt for a boot menu.
I boot OS X 90% of the time and really only use WinXP for Call of Duty 4. I've had this configuration for months w/ no problems whatsoever but all of the sudden OS X just wont Shutdown or Restart. I cringe every time I have to cold boot it.

When I go to either Shutdown or Restart it goes through its usual process and looks like its ok, but after a moment the screen looses its signal and the computer's still on. Its just not going all the way. I cold boot it and pick my OS in rEFIt and every thing's ok. I am able to Shutdown and Restart from WinXP, so the problem seems to be isolated to OS X.
I've run the usual hardware checks and run through the logs but can't pinpoint anything.
