My iMac Intel 2.4Ghz cannot maintain a stable internet connection after upgrading to Leopard. My MBP that sits right next to it using Tiger has no problem. Any idea to what could be happening? My iMac's internet connection was fine before the upgrade. Thanks

Have you updated to 10.5.3? Use a wired connection temporarily to get the update.

Yes, I'm already using 10.5.3. I'm puzzled at the problem. I don't think the card is bad because it was working perfectly fine while it was running Tiger. Any other suggestions? This is pretty frustrating. Thanks

This was the fix for me, and you will need to know your WEP password:

1) In System Preferences open Network, click on Airport
2) Delete all instances of “Preferred Networks” in “Network Preferences”.
3) Delete all “Airport network password” instances in “Keychain Access”.
4) Restart your Mac.
5) Add/Join applicable preferred network using the Airport pulldown menu or in Network Preferences (as if for the first time). Use “Advanced” in “Network Preferences” to confirm the existence of your preferred network and the correct settings. Use “Keychain Access” to confirm the existence of the applicable “Airport network password” instance and the correct settings.
6) Restart your Mac. The OS should now find your preferred network and join it on its own.

Hope this helps you, it sure worked for me.
