Hi,

I'm buying some empty drive trays for a G5 Xserve.

What is the maximum size drive I can put in the trays (ADM). I'd love to use three 1TB drives in a RAID 5 configuration, but read somewhere that the G5 Xserve is limited to 500 GB drives in the modules.

Can anybody confirm or deny the 500 GB limitation on ADM?

There shouldn't be such a limit.
