A couple of years ago I installed a second harddrive in my G-5 with tiger to use as a backup.
It has always worked perfectly but all of a sudden it doesn't show up.

I don't know what to to.

Does it show in Disk Utility? Does it spin up?

Have you verified the cables are still connected securely?

I disconnected and reconnected it and it showed up but when I turned the computer off it disappeared again. I guess it is bad so I ordered a new one for $45.00
