4 memory slots yields at least 16GB and maybe 32GB with modern chipsets.
Oh, and nevergonnahappen.

Looks like another cube, which means it'll be more money for less bang....exactly what the ProSumer Mac SHOULD NOT be.
What we really need is a computer that occupies the same case as the Mac Pro, but has been 'dumbed-down' to lower costs while still offering the same range of upgradability.

I can't really know the prices of the components for Apple, but I believe, they would be much more cheaper than these:
190$ Quad-core Processor (2.66)
80$ Mainboard
75$ 2x2GB DDR3 RAM
55$ 500GB SATA
100$ 512MB 9600 GT Graphics card
------
500$
Mac Tower entry level price could be at 1199-1299$
700-800$ left for:
Body, optical drive, power supply, battery, speakers, remote, cables, etc...
These are PC hardware retail prices, but for Mac Tower these could be manifactured or bought cheaper by Apple.
Of course Apple won't do this kind of a computer, it has a lot of 'options'. Dock on top, remote popping up, speakers entagrated

It's not plausible, but I give the creator of it credit.

I like the presentation a whole lot better than the concept.

I don't understand what "self-managing cables" is supposed to mean. Please elaborate.

After you opened the enclosure, plugged the cables in and closed it, the rear cables are lined up, tidied up automatically.
For people who liked it, iPhone and desktop wallpapers

Oh, right. I guess that would be kinda nice. I was just looking at the ports you can see in the pics and thinking fugly cables sticking out the top. But I guess any sensible person would save those for things that are only plugged in temporarily.

These types of amateur concepts are even more amusing when you Google for some of the older ones... like from 8 years ago or so.
