So Im stuck what to do fairly new to Mac but I have an Intel Mac 2.8Ghz if that's any help.

Well, my mac was acting up so I put in the Mac Disk 1 install cd to try and repair or see what was the problem because my Disk Utility wasn't working on my other user account on this mac. I had a white screen for about ever did the alt-cmd-p-r and still a white screen, so I held option and nothing worked same with holding c while the disk was in. left it unplugged for about 30 mins and it decided to work(boot up past white screen) Well now Im trying to get my Mac Disk out of the cd thing on the side and nothing works.

These are the things I've tried.

Eject on keyboard
alt+eject
iTunes eject
Disk Utility to eject but it was telling me there was no cd in to eject.
I have tried the terminal command and this is what I get

hdiutil: couldn't unmount "disk0" - Resource busy
john-*******-imac:dev jp$ hdiutil eject disk1
hdiutil: eject failed - No such file or directory
john-*******-imac:dev jp$ hdiutil eject disk2

( I assume disk0 is my HDD0 )

Anyways, I just want my Mac OSX CD1 Back :| And Iw ant to be able to backup all my pictures onto a dvd before I take this to the apple store to get looked at but the damn booger wont pop out and I've tried everything to my knowledge. So if anyone has any ideas PLEASE PLEASE help

If you have another mac you could try booting the iMac in target disk mode, and assuming the CD shows up in the finder of the second machine, eject it from there.

I've never seen the 'mouse button' trick fail unless there is something wrong with the optical drive.

For what ever reason it started working.

I held down shift during reboot and it went into a chkdsk type of thing then I held down the mouse button and it popped out. well I put in a music cd just to make sure tis working for sure and it got stuck again. So I rebooted and held down the "d" key and logged in after it was checking the hardware. CD popped out with no problem and I just got done burning my pictures to a DVD. I have no idea what caused this but I was really afraid for a little bit :|
