I have an Imac aluminum imac that I purchased in Nov of 07

2GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo
I Upgraded it from 1GB to 4GB
4GB 667MHZ DDR2 SDRAM

I thinking of selling it on ebay and purchasing a new mac. Will I be able to get a good resell price??

Check eBay for prices... you can see what they sell for by doing an advanced search and choosing completed listings only. Any prices in green indicate that the product was sold. Any that are in red indicate the product was not sold.

You can also test prices by placing an ad on craigslist. Its anonymous, so if you decide not to sell at that price, it's OK. And if you have no one interested you're probably too high (just make sure you only deal on a person to person basis on craigslist - never, never mail anything anywhere).

Welcome to our forums! However, you should know that your post looks an awful lot like an "offer to sell," which we strictly confine to our Marketplace forum (and there are limits on who can start threads there...).

It would have been better if you'd just asked a more general question like "How can I get a decent price estimate for my November '07 iMac? Here are the specs..." See the difference?

Anyway, I think you've gotten some really good information above, and I hope you'll let us know what Mac you're going to replace the one you're selling with. Again, welcome!
