On my G4/733:
Can the back, screwed, plate around the small ports, including the headphone port, be safely removed from the outside, w/o separating wires from connections, etc.? The headphone port, which I connect to speakers, permits a male jack to wiggle around, not enabling electrical contact, unless secured to something. Perhaps the female jack has bent metal inside which can be unbent.
