I hope someone can help with this.
I have a Powermac G5 with 2 HD's in the top and bottom bays. I can't remove the bottom drive because it's really wedged in there. I can't remove the top drive first because of the bottom drive. I've tried to wiggle it. I've tried holding open the screw slot things. I just can't get this drive out. I think it may be a tad oversized to begin with. It's a SATA drive but it's got a power connector like an older ATA drive and the drive looks a little taller than the new SATA drive I want to replace it with.

Short of dismantling the entire machine to get to the drive from the inside out, I have run out of ideas.

Any advice would be appreciated!

It required some side-to-side movement to jiggle it out. The only way to do that was to use a long(ish) screwdriver, insert it along one side (where the drive's screws slide in) and using your finger tips on the other side, I gingerly rocked the drive from side-to-side while pulling. It didn't take long to feel progress so I kept working it out as easy as I could.

Some tape applied to the tip of the screwdriver would have been a good idea
