Hi,

I have an iMac G5 from about 4-5 years ago and it just recently had a problem when starting up. When I click on the power up button on the back, it hardly ever turns on on the first try anymore and I got to keep clicking on it repeatedly for it to start. That is the only issue, what could be the problem? Any help would be more than appreciated, thanks.

It could be the power supply. If it is, that's good news because they are fairly inexpensive, and you can easily install one yourself.

Pop off the back and look for bulging capacitors.
