Hello i seem to be a bit mad but i fancy to buy a emac and get rid of my windows based systems after using linux on them
so now as i like to have an emac as i realy love the crt screen with everything build into it sort of thing , sorry folks wit imacs but lcd/tft/plasma things are not my cup of tea
i already know i will need a emac g4 1.25 or 1.42 in order to get a usb2.o connector and it should have 104 tiger on it at least ..thats not a problem the only thing i want to know is will i be able to use a dvb-t usb stick in order to watch digital tv on it
as the usb thingies i found dont simply state reaoly minimum requirements or if they state them them in a way i could presume even a c64 would be suitabel

Hello and welcome to the boards.

Yes, it should work. I have the dvb-t USB TV tuner shown below on a Power Mac G4 single CPU 1,25 GHz running EyeTV 3.1 and it works great.

Don't worry, I had bought the PC version as well, there is not a proper Hauppauge Mac version, they just ship the tuner bundled with Eye TV Lite.

So far you can install Eye TV and it will give you the needed support.
