Hey guys, I am looking at the differences of the 17" board and the 20" board. It seems just by looking that the heat sink is different and the ram direction is reversed.

Has any one put a 17" board in a 20" imac?

I don't see why you couldn't... they're pretty much exactly the same except for what you said.

I would have thought the 17" board was too small.
The 20" board takes up the entire width of the 20" I have here, so I guess the 17" does the same.

I also think the 20" PSU uses a 22 pin connector when the 17" uses 20.
