Hi all,

For a long time my Apple alu extended keyboard has had one problem - the Enter key doesn't work. At all. I think I've figure out the problem but need some help with the fix.

I use the Logitech desktop for mac, but not the keyboard (which is crap), just the mouse. But the RF receiver still seems to be telling the Mac that the Logitech keyboard is present. So, whenever I do a clean install, on first login I get a system setup utility that asks me to press the key to the right of the left-hand shift key on my keyboard to identify the layout - japanese, european or US. Whenever I try this, it doesn't work - it doesn't recognise the key being depressed - but I just quit the config utility with no ill effects. My keyboard is US layout.

My question is, my system still seems to think my Logitech keyboard is present. Is there a config or prefs file I can delete to revert the system to its default 'Apple keyboard' condition? I no longer use the Logitech mouse (drivers were abominable).

Thanks in advance,

alby

Run LCC Uninstaller that should be in your Utilities folder to get rid of LCC. Then try reinstalling it. The latest version is 3.1.
