Hi guys,

We all know about the problems with the Power Mac G5 dying after a few years. Well, after 4 years mine is dying. I tried everything possible to save it. I came to the conclusion that I have to sell it. I ran the app Hardware Test Disk and it says that my logic board is working fine. My questions are:

Is it better to sell as Non-Functional all together?
Would it be better to sell part by part?
Would I get more money selling the pieces than selling the whole thing together?

I'm planning to buy a new computer. Do you recommend getting an iMAc or the new Mac Pro is stable??

THank you for reading this, thank you for your time, thank you for the help

Arthur

That's a top tip there! You should follow up on it.

You can always get more money by stripping the machine down and selling the parts individually, it’s just going to take longer to shift and you may very well end up with leftovers.

And don't forget to include the cost of eBay and PayPal fees.

I presume your machine is out of warranty? It's not booting? What is it doing (or not doing as the case may be)?
