Just throwing this out there, because I'm at a loss.

I have two Mac Pros running Snow Leopard and both with ATI Radeon HD3870s.
After installing Snow Leopard on both machines, I lost my second monitor and video out abilities. I swapped computers, but the issue is on both. Upgrading to 10.6.2 changed nothing.

Anyone else having issues? Suggestions? Thanks.

1.) Make sure you have all the updates applied from Software Update. After the updates, shutdown and restart, just to make sure.

2.) Reset your PRAM/NVRAM

3.) Reset your SMC Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)

I tried most of this already, except the SMC reset. I'll give it shot. Thanks!

No dice. the SMC reset had no effect.

I contacted AppleCare, maybe I'll get new video cards out of this.
