Since the Mac Mini servers only come with one Ethernet port, do you think it would be possible to use a USB>Ethernet adapter and to create a link aggregate for the connections? I'm not sure if the USB>Ethernet connection would be up to the standards that are indicated.

Nothing. We're looking at failover options as we're moving to a new location and our university will be picking up the networking backend that we've previously done on our own. They recommend multiple ethernet cards, and so we got an adapter for the MacMini. But since we're also looking now to aggregate, this might be a problem.

USB>Ethernet will work, but it's slow (100Mbps). Ok as a backup HA link, but not much benefit for aggregation.
