Hello everyone!

I'm planning on converting to a Mac (a PC user for 10+ years) within the next month and have been performing research on doing so and I really like what I read about this decision. All that's left is to save a little bit for it. However, I have found a few discrepancies in the lower models on various sites. In the 21.5" iMac for $1200, specs show an NVIDIA 9400m video card. The manufacturer of the video card does not list the memory specs on the site, and Apple does not list the memory specs on their site. However, within the Best Buy store is a sales sticker that shows that the $1200 iMac has a 256 MB Video Card. When Apple and the manufacturer don't even provide these specs, is Best Buy just pulling a random number out of thin air?

Apple - iMac - Technical Specifications

21.5-inch models, one of the following:

• NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory
• ATI Radeon HD 4670 graphics processor with 256MB of GDDR3 memory

Hmmm. I could have dug a little deeper and checked the technical specs but I was going by what was listed when you go into the Apple Store. Oh, well. Thank you very much! I think I'll save up for a higher model. I don't want a shared video card.
