I need to connect my emac with a duff monitor to my good one to transfer docs over.
I bought a 4 pin to 4 pin firewire 400 cable but its the wrong size.
Where would i get the proper connector,

You need the 6-pin to 6-pin cables. Monoprice is a good place to get cables. Scroll down past the 4/4 and 4/6 cables to the real ones.
