Hi all,

i shipped my MacPro, which was bought and used in the US to Israel (where are i'm currently staying)
i checked the voltage specs on the apple website and this is what they said:

* Line voltage: 100-120V AC or 200-240V AC (wide-range power supply input voltage)
* Frequency: 50Hz to 60Hz single phase

anyone know of a good place to buy converters? or even what is a "Wide Range Power supply input voltage"

and to make matters even worse, i forgot to ship my power cable....uhhhhhhh

any help would be appreicated.

All you need is a new power cord. The power supply in your MP will switch automatically.

For Israel it's something like this:

You should be able to find it in every hardware store.

If you have other devices going with the Pro, you might want to look at each of them to see if they can run on 220. If they can, just ship a normal power strip with US style plugs, then get an adaptor like this:

I did this when I traveled to the UK and a few places in Europe. My phone charger, camera charger and other various things all worked at 220, so the power bar helped me plug it all in with only a single adaptor.

It's very important that every device plugged in supports 220 though. Do not use a simple adaptor on a device that can only handle 120.
