Once in a while when I start up my new Mac Mini the menu bar at the top does not load in. I have to click around the top of the screen and then it shows up. I called Apple and they had me zap the Pram and told me it's nothing to worry about. It has been fine for several weeks but did it twice today, once after zapping the Pram. Is this something I should be concerned about? The computer seems to run fine otherwise. Maybe it will be fixed in the next OS update? It's not really that big of problem I hope. It may not do it for several weeks at a time. I have OS 10.6.2 and all the updates.
Thanks for advice
I have noticed this happens when my Mac's connection to the internet is not working well.
It's really just a delay to finish starting up, I believe. Next time it happens, do nothing and see what happens.
It did it again. I shut off the transparent menu bar and it was fine for over two weeks. I installed the 10.6.3 update and thought it was cured. The wallpaper I use is not the same resolution as my screen. Maybe that is causing it? I tried waiting for the computer to finish starting but the bar would't show. It seems I can almost see part of it there then I click several times and it shows up completely. Not that big of a problem I guess but you think a mac would be better than that is this day and age. Got to go zap more pram.
