So I have to move a mac pro's guts from one dented case to a new one. Where can I get fresh thermal paste? The specific "formula" that Mac Pros need? I know new heat sinks come with it pre-applied, but I'm not replacing them, just detaching them reattaching. So I need fresh paste and wipes to clean the old stuff off. Where oh where can I get such things?

Apple? Assuming you can't just remove the board with the processors and heatsinks attached.

Apple? I highly doubt apple sells thermal grease. And no, the heat sink bolts go through the logic board to the back of the case.

Don't most people just use Arctic Silver thermal paste which you can buy at Newegg.com or any other online retailer?

I don't tinker with CPU's, but that's what I've read about here and on other forums in the past.

My local shop had a fat tube of the stuff for a whopping $2 :-)
