Hello,
I have an old G5 with a partitioned HD and want to transfer all to new G5 without partitioning the HD.

Any help?

thanks

If the new G5 has a HD that's large enough to hold all the stuff from the old G5, just network the two and copy it over. Partitioning only divides the HD into more than one virtual device...not much different than having two smaller HDs.

Yeah, just copy everything over to the bigger drive. You don't have to worry about partitioning, as cgc says.
