Anyone know the details on the slot the SSD drive goes in? Is it a standard drive slot? I'd love to stick a 2.5" HDD in the SSD slot, in addition to the traditional hard drive. I'd use the laptop drive for bootcamp. It would be perfect. Maybe it's a 1.8" drive? 1.8" HDD's might be a bit laggy for a bootcamp drive, especially when the primary function will be games. Then again, maybe not . . .

It's a 2.5" SSD in a very non-standard mounting bay. A 2.5" drive would probably fit, but I'm not sure about how it is fastened.

You don't get the wiring harness for the 2.5" bay if you don't order the SSD from the factory.

I guess being a Mac repair guy you could acquire one.

No, but you do get the extra SATA port. You can run a regular SATA cable from that port and sneak some power with a Y-cable from the optical. Not as pretty as the default harness, but it works.
