Well, my G4 Cube has been acting up, and though it certainly is not my daily-use computer if there is a easy way to fix it up I'd love to keep it alive.
Long story short (because I don't know the cause), my computer boots up fine, the mouse moves, but the mouse cursor won't click. I'm not sure if this is a driver issue (I've tried multiple mice so it's not the problem). Well can't do much without clicking, and I have nothing important saved on the computer so I'd like to just do a wipe/reinstall.
I don't have a clue where the original discs are so I'm looking to buy some off ebay and have a few questions:
-Can this be done with just the G4 Install CD, or do I need to have a Restore CD as well?
-Is there a difference between G4 and G4 Cube install discs (both for desktops)
-The CD's I'm seeing are for OS 9.0.4, does it matter that it currently has OS9.2.2 installed?
