Hi, just want to ask if I can install the bundled OS X 10.6 installer(gray color) from the iMac 21.5" (early 2010) to my iMac 24" (early 2009)?

TIA

Nope. It won't work without some effort on your part.

Why don't you just buy a copy of snow leopard for $29?

Newer installers may boot older machines, but as Turtle said you'll only know for sure if you try it out.

I seriously doubt it will install. It should boot though.

If the computers happen to be next to each other, you can Target Disk Mode the 24" onto the 21" and install it onto the HDD.
