Replacing Mac Mini HeatSink Pin Clips

The plastics clips that hold the heatsink onto the CPU snapped and the fan now runs at 100%

I ve opened it up and can see the clip[ has snapped but I cannot seem to find a replacement - I have a 1st gen Intel Mac Mini and cannot afford to replace the entire machine simply becuiase of a broken widget

Does anyknow know if these are compatible and whether they can be bought at a store ? I am in the UK and dont mind paying extra for them

Did a quick Google and came across an iFixit post - people have used similar nylon screws.
On the ars link, someone used metal screws. I'd probably go with nylon though.
