So Thunderbolt is in the Pro's and the iMacs. What I'm wondering is when they'll update the mini.
And what kind of power will they be able to squeeze under the hood when they do? Maybe I'm jumping the gun. Maybe all the new goodies need to turn up in the regular Macbook before the mini. What do you'all think?

My guess:
i3 or i5 duals, Intel HD 3000 graphics, Thunderbolt & HDMI, 500GB hard drive or 256GB SSD.
I hope its a higher spec though (quad cores, AMD graphics...).

If the Macbook isn't killed off with the next MBA update, it's about due for an update now. The mini is usually last in one of these cycles, but I'd guess June or so for that one. Something like a Core i5-2410M seems about right.

The low-end Mac Pro is the most overpriced Mac since the IIvx

A Quad Core Mini Server would be really awesome.

I'm just waiting for this next release; my HTPC is in serious need of an upgrade.

If you wanna see the next mini, look at the 13" MacBook Pro. That seems to be the pattern.

A quad-core Mac Mini Server with 2x 1TB SATA drives and an SSD would be super awesome.

Do the 12mm laptop drives fit in the current Mac Minis?
