hi, this is steve. i have an imac g5 and lately it has been getting slower and slower. its obvious that it can"t keep up while i type. i changed from safari to firefox because when i went into yahoo mail, it would throw me out. i"m i right in saying that it needs to be cleaned or defraged. its thing constantly. i would appreciate any advice. ps, i have never had a problem on my g5. steve

What version of Mac OS X are you using? How much RAM do you have? How full is your disk?

This info will help us help you.

Mac generally don't need to be defragged but there might be some things you can try to speed you system up a bit.
