i know Im a bit late to 10.6. Ive been running 10.5.8 on ,y MacPro for years and bought and tried 10.6 but didnt care for the interface and most importantly my Logitech wheel mouse did not program completely on 10.6

went over this many time with Logitech and no go

unfortunately my 10.5.8 got corrupted and ive moved to 10.6.4

should I update to 10.6.8 and be done with it?

i still have some issues w QT 10 x vs 7.6.9 and iTunes 9.0.2 and my iPad

ill ask about those two issues in another thread.

as always, may thanks for your time and help. its always appreciated.

Yes. 10.6.8 is a great, rock-solid release.
Plus, there are a lot of apps out there that set 10.6.8 as the lowest compatible version of OSX.
