I've got a working G4 MDD with a 1GHz G4 cpu and a QS MDD 1.2GHz with a failed logic board.
Can I easily swap the cpu's over on these? Should be a worthwhile performance hike of the 1GHz if possible.

The processor swaps with the G4s are not real straight forward. What exactly is the "QS MDD" model? Get MacTracker for some good clues, model numbers, processor types, ram, etc.:

Well according to my Mactracker the models I have are both P58's, which came with either a single 1GHz or a dual 1.25GHz chip.
Since they are both from the same model range I guess that might make it simpler since the motherboard will be the same?
Though I see that the single has a 133 bus while the dual have a 167 bus so I don't know how this will effect the processor etc.
