I placed my ADC order for a new 17" PowerBook on 3/24/03. I was given an OOB date of 4/28/03. Like everyone else I desperately checked my status everyday...well today was glorious: I have a tracking number, and my new little baby left Taiwan last night!!!
I'm getting this after only waiting for 2-2.5 weeks!!! If I'm getting mine this quick, they must be finally shipping these things in quantity!
Good luck to everyone else whose waiting, hope you see your tracking number soon!!!

Yep... exactly the same thing happened to me (sans the nice ADC discount, of course). So it clearly seems like they are starting to ship in mass quantity.
Good to know.
The Apple Story now has an ETA of 4-6 days.

Apple Store Sweden... it lists the PB as 'delivery now', and when placing the order says 'between 4-6 days'.

All the european apple store sites say that. Apple probably forgot to update the US one...
Well, just about everyone with preorders has theirs now, right? I sure hope so...

UK store also gives shipping times as immediate. I guess once the backorders are filled we may see the 15 " update. The 15" now has the longest leadtime at the UK store.

Yea, tons of apple stores now get a steady supply of these babies so that people can come and get them. Its nice that now the 'floodgates' are finally opening!
