The plastic part of one of the memory retention clips on my 500-megahertz PowerBook G4 is broken. I'd like to install a second memory module in my PowerBook, but a technician at an Apple Store told me I would need a logic board. Will a 667-megahertz PowerBook's logic board fit in my PowerBook? The logic board I'm interested in buying came from a second-generation TiBook with VGA output.

Not sure if it would fit nor if it'd work but a few other suggestions:

I would be incline to rig it on there. There has to be a way to secure it without much risk.

This site sells pieces but they are pricey, they list a 500 logic board.
