anybody notice that on secure webpages, when not playing tunes, the powerbook speakers emit a low-volume whining noise? it's not fan related but sort of like a digital bytes-transferred ticker...
annoying in quiet rooms though!

yes, this is a known issue of safari..this was discussed in a lot of threads 1-2 months ago.
