I'm not sure if this was allready discussed...

It's my second 65W power supply and the problem ist still there:

The battery is charging when i connnect my PB to the power supply. When I put my PB to sleepmode the supply stops charging the PB (the light on the connector turns off). I have to diconnect the power supply from power and after reconnecting the PS to the Power the PB is charging (disconnecting from the PB won't work the light is off and no charging after sleepmode)...
tnx for infos !
PS. The power supply i use @ work works ???

Well, the PowerBook G4 12" comes with a 45W power supply so I would not expect normal behaviour with a 65W one... it may even break your machine... take care

not true. the 65w adapter lowers itself to 45w on the 12 inch machine. if you order an extra power adapter from apple for the 12 inch you get a 65w adapter. cant even order a 45w. i use the 65w for my 12 inch no problems. order a extra adapter for 12 inch and then for 17 inch at apple.com and yu will see 2 of the same adapters in your basket. bought mine from local apple store and it was a 65w. they said no 45w available except with 12 inch computer purchase.

I've noticed that a couple of times too with my power supply and my 17" PowerBook, though I haven't nailed down the specifics of how it happens.

Good to know someone else sees it.
