I got finally a tracking number from Apple.

And there is written now:


arrived in EDC (merge delivery)

What the hack is EDC and where is that. I ordered it to Germany.

EDC stands for European Distribution Center.

My order status changed to code 89 98 (no description).
I hope they ship it on monday or tuesday.

My 12" went from Taiwan to EDC which I believe is in Luxembourg, then on to MDC in London the next day, I got it the day after.
The courier dumped in on the reception desk like it was a box full of 'something he didn't care about breaking'.

Call Apple, they were very helpful, even called the courier company for me (they are not so helpful now that I want the copy of iDVD that failed to ship with my SD equipped mac).
