Well... I am back on the waiting train... I had to send my PB 17 in for repair the other day... I miss it tons already!!! At least I have the 12 to hold me for a bit!
The problem was that the computer just didn't charge... The power adapter ran the computer fine, but it just didn't charge the battery...
I think that the 17 is a wonderful computer!!! I can't wait to get it back... Ohhhhh the waiting.... Killed me more than once now!

I had to send my 17" in too. The airport card was bad. It went in on wednesday, and I just picked it up today.

Apple's warranty service is top notch!

That's weird that your repair is taking more than a week. My family has sent in probably 3 powerbooks for repair over the years (one last week for a really dead hard drive) and they all came back in less than a week. The last TiBook with the bad hard drive was sent in this Monday and came back on Wednesday!
