eject me, eject me not...

	i have a 600Mhx iBook running 10.2.5 with a "broken" cd-rom drive. ? the problem is that all of the sudden the cd tray just started ejecting and will not stay "in."... ...i close it, and then a second or two later it ejects it back out for me. so kind. has anyone heard of this before? and does anyone know a "fix?" i didnt install any new software recently before it "broke"... and it will actually stay close for a complete second, so i don't think it is the latch... thanks.
