Got my 12" loveeeee it. I've had it for a little while, maybe a month not exactly sure.

Anyway, one day i Noticed that it went from 3 hours and 45 minutes or so on FULL battery...to around 2:50....

now i UNDERSTAND THAT BATTERIES LOSE "THE JUICE" but don't they do it in kinda like small incriments? not me tunring on the Al and seeing that i've lost over an hour? confused be me...

anyone have advice? or ideas? i just went to 10.2.5...not much of a change.

Are you talking about actual, tested time or the 'time prediction' meter? Becuase the meter will change because of heavy HD use, processor activity, high LCD brightness, etc. It would take several hundred charge/discharge cycles to notice that kind of change.

Don't worry about it. If you're sure that you have no more processor/HD/backlight usage than when you compared before, your battery might need to be calibrated (fully discharged and recharged) like when you got it originally.

But, it's nothing to worry about. You'll see many months of usage before your battery starts to 'go bad'. It's fairly sudden, you'll be sure to notice it.

Check your energy saver prefs > options tab to make sure when its on battery power its set to 'reduced' instead of 'highest' for processor performance.
