I have just got my new TiBook - arrived on Friday, and already I feel competent enough to do stuff with it. And for a change it is fun, and I don't feel like I will knacker it by mucking around! Just a quick question - will the 65W power adapter work in mainland europe? I'm in the UK, and travel abroad often - will it automatically adjust for the differences?

There are no differences, except the physical shape of the connectors. The UK and Europe are both on 230V at 50Hz. It used to be 240V in the UK and 220V in Europe, but they compromised.

However, your PB will also work fine in the US on 110V at 60Hz.

Wow! Congrats man!! Yep, isn't it amazing how quickly you can learn to navigate OS X?! Are you're so right, owning a Mac puts the "fun" back in computing, the way it should really be.

Enjoy your new machine man, and post pics if you're able to!

Apple sells Power Adapter Kits. You can slide the current plug connector off your adapter and replace it with the corresponding plug for the country your in.
