I just received my refurb Powerbook DVI 667 today which I ordered from Smalldog. This is my first Powerbook, but not my first Apple computer. Anyway, everything looks to be working great except the battery. The battery has no charge in it, and I can't get the little bugger to charge up either. I get a constant green light from the power cable. If I reseat the batter, the light will turn orange for about 5-10 minutes and then turn back to green. When I reseat the battery, the icon shows that a battery is connected and charging. And when the light on the power cable turns back to green, the icon shows that there is no battery connected. I've searched through Apple's knowledge base with no results. I tried resetting the Power Manager as per knowledge base article #14449, no dice. I guess I'm going to have to call Smalldog tomorrow, and I'm sure they'll just refer me to Apple. Has anybody here experienced this problem with their PB? Any suggestions on fixing this myself? Or am I in the hands of customer care? Thanks!
