I thought about just ripping out the drive and throwing it into one of those USB/Firewire cases (2.5 inch) but in looking at it, it looks like DUO's used SCSI.

Any ideas?

I guess it depends a bit on how many files you need to transfer, and how large they are. If it's just some documents or whatever, I would think you could use the modem to email them. Since the Duo didn't have ethernet or even ADB, that's about all I can think of.

Can you dial up one computer from another... I didn't think that was possible?

I just mean dial up to your ISP with the Duo and email the files to yourself. Of course if you don't have a dial-up account that wouldn't work.

You can use a null modem cable and connect using terminal software, then transfer the files using zmodem or somesuch.

Or take out the SCSI drive, put it in an external SCSI enclosure, plug that into a computer with a SCSI card...
