I have a friend at work that purchased a 12" Powerbook about 2 weeks after I did. Anyway, his powerbook won't turn on. You press the power button and you can hear the hard drive, but there is NEVER a chime, the screen is black and then the sleep light glows, but the screen is still black. Apple had him do a power reset to no avail. He sent it in to Apple, got it back today and it is doing the exact same thiing. The screen never lights up. It then goes to sleep. It's like just "dead." Any ideas. It is a pain to send back to Apple a second time, but what else can he do? (The battery is showing a full charge on the indicators on the battery itself.) It doesn't help to be plugged in.
By the way, my 12" Powerbook is perfect. Any ideas? Anyone ever heard of this problem.
