Is there a way how I can let my internal 15" TiBook's (Nov 02 release) Harddisk get to sleep after the period defined in system preferences #without# switching the external drive* into sleep mode?

*(IBM 80 GB in IceCube case with Oxford chip)

I'm asking because the external drive is a desktop model which I'm assuming that it doesn't like to sleep in shorter time periods. Meanwhile the internal Fujitsu 60 GB is a 2.5" mobile model that could like to sleep after 15 min. without usage (because of heat etc.).
