Has anyone noticed this weird phenomenon? I get it on my TiBook sometimes if I click open the sidebar in the DVD controller when I'm in full-screen mode.

Also, if I go back to windowed mode, I get it when the DVD Player window is in the background (like in the picture). Bring it into the foreground and it goes back to normal.

TiBook 1 GHz SuperDrive. OS X.2.5. Never happened in OS X.2.4. DVD Player 3.2.

Argh, gotta hate those dang software updated. Supposed to make your machine run better, but the backlashes are killer sometimes. For that very reason I can't comment, as I'm shyly still running 10.2.4 as I have no reason to update and risk it, but I'm certain it's a 10.2.5 issue, just like the USB failures were. Hope it gets worked out for ya, and hopefully some others with TiBooks can chime in w/ more useful advice.

Well, I guess I'll have to hope for X.2.6 (X.3?) to fix this.

Or is it just my TiBook? Anyone else have this problem?

By the way, if you look at the top left of the screen you'll see the word "video". That is on the desktop, not the DVD. (It's either the name of the disc on the desktop, or else something in the Finder.) So it seems to be mixing in stuff from the desktop in the DVD window.

Hey Eug, I don't seem to have that problem, I've only tried a couple of DVD's, but nothing so far thank goodness - can you reproduce it consistantly on different DVD's when its in the background?

All 10.2.5 did to me was kill my FireWire and Airport
