I have a Powerbook 800 DVI and an xbox (composite video out), and I want to use my powerbook's screen to play the video coming from the xbox. Is there a way to do this?

note: 2nd link is the reverse of what u want... it outputs your pb screen through a s-video or compisite connection... un-needed on pb since we already have all those options with the included adapters!

The CapSure says that it reqires a laptop with 'zoomed' video; does my powerbook have this? It mentions compatibility with older 500 mhz Ti books, but I have a newer 800mhz DVI one...

Also I noticed the the two video in solutions (see above post with links to macmall) are USB. How can USB transmit full-quality video? Both these video capture devices are also vague on whether or not they can provide live feeds. I want to be able to take a composite video feed and play it full screen at 30 fps at TV or better quality. The Formac studio media converter looks like it would do the job, but I don't want to spend $300 (and I don't need the ability to record or to be able to play a cable TV feed).

I used the irez capture card on my wallstreet years ago. Full screen, full motion thanks to the zoomed video thingy. No idea if it will wrk on modern machines. I would email them and ask.
