I have a 300 Mhz Walstreet that was working fine before upgrading to OSX v10.1. Now the battery will no longer hold a charge. In fact, when in OSX it does not even recognize the battery. When I reboot in OS 9 it recognizes the battery but does not charge. I ordered a new battery, but it will not recognize the new battery at all in either OS. Any suggestions? Anyone know if this is a wallstreet issue with OSX?

Also, I have heard that the DVD drive on pre-firewire macs (ie, wallstreets) just doesn't work in OSX (meaning that it doesn't play DVDs). Does anyone know if a software patch or firmware update has been developed to deal with this issue?

Thanks,
Zach
