Oh well, it's just a new layout.

They're taking pre-orders for Diskwarrior for OS X on there too now (has a May shipping date).

Wow, new iBook on the list! Pretty nifty update their, escp. considering we're almost promised to see yet another update on the 28th after that "special meeting". Nice! Plus, the new layout is sweet!

LOL! Looks like Apple was tired of hearing that people are shopping at the resellers! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I was calling to ask a question, and it finally got out that I wasn't buying from them, but that I was buying through a reseller in the US. The guy tried every trick in the book to get me to buy with him...but he still couldn't give me a better deal. LOL

I wonder what Apple cares whether you buy with them or the resellers? Don't they get the same kickback in the end? Oh, I guess not...the middleman gets a cut.

p.s. The new format sucks.

p.p.s. ahhh..yay...the canadian website still has the previous format

New layout is cool. Not as easily navigated, IMO, but much more modern-looking.

New iBooks look cool. DiskWarrior is not available for preorder. I bought a copy at MWSF with a 'free upgrade' to the OS X version when it came out. They said that as long as I registered, they would send me a CD of the new version, 'when available'. They said that that would be, at the absolute latest, early February, because they were just 'finishing up some documents' that go with it. They must have ran into trouble somewhere.

Anyway, can't wait for that. I use DiskWarrior for directory work, and Norton to check files. DiskWarrior is the ONLY program I use regularly that isn't OS X native.

I concur. It's too cluttered, not the simple, clean elegance that mac is known for. It contrasts the whole site. But, it packs in a ton of information on one window.

I agree, to a point. The old site was cool, because the hardware was so plainly laid out. Each product line, along with picture, in it's own box, with a 'starting at' price. Click the button to see the line-up.

I'm actally kind of surprised at apple for making such a cluttered interface, but it does look cool.
